Community Reassurance Update from Shropshire Council – 1st December 2020

As we move into National Tier Two restrictions from Wednesday 2nd December, many of us will welcome the easing of restrictions and the chance to prepare for a very different festive season to usual. It is hearting to see the infection figures moving slowly in the right direction, and it’s reassuring to know that testing in Shropshire is readily available (details below). This week also sees a welcomed boost to business grants, a generous offer from the Shropshire Rural Communities Charity (RCC) to fund PPE for community groups, and a plea for information from The Shropshire Food Poverty Alliance.

New Covid-19 Business Grants

The second phase of Covid-19 Business Grants is now live. The additional discretionary grant fund will be awarded in three levels and will see more firms eligible for support.
