Hello and welcome to the new Whittington Parish Council website.
After a number of years of being hosted by Shrop.Net (a free web hosting service offered by Shropshire Council) we have decided to move to a new location. This is in part because the free Shrop.Net service is being withdrawn in 2016 and partly because we wanted a revamp and chance to develop a site that could act as a hub for the many organisations, business and services we have within our community.
We would like to see the website act beyond the needs of the Parish Council and serve the community as a whole and so here we are…. the new Web of Whittington!
